This North Carolina farm was seen from some distance while walking a park trail in the fall looking at leaf color. Fortunately I had may camera with a long lens and took several shots. On a cold wet winter day too miserable to go out painting I was reviewing photos on my camera and came across this farm. Started working up some composition sketches and finally settled on this one to paint.
