Industrial scene located on First Avenue west of downtown Hickory, North Carolina in an older industrial area. Saw this on a bright sunny fall day and the shadows, shapes and various elements just screamed out, paint me! So I did. I named the painting Hickory Concrete but the actual company name is Kerr’s Concrete.
